Avner Moriah creates visual chronicles of the historic saga of the Jewish people, many of which are found in large-scale public works. His unique art also captures the landscapes and cityscapes of Israel. Moriah was born in Jerusalem in 1953 where he now lives and works. He is a graduate of the Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem and the Graduate School of Art and Architecture at Yale University where he received a MFA. His works have been acquired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY, the Israel Museum, the Holocaust Museum, Washington, DC, among others.
